Terms

Terms of Service

AutoToken is a tabletop RPG creature workshop for creating tokens, statblocks, saved creature packages, and Foundry-ready export files. By using AutoToken, you agree to use the service lawfully, keep your account secure, and avoid interfering with the service or other users.

You are responsible for the prompts, uploads, names, statblocks, and other content you submit. Do not upload or publish content that you do not have rights to use, content that violates another person's privacy or intellectual property rights, or content intended to harass, exploit, or harm others.

AutoToken may change, suspend, or limit features when needed for security, reliability, abuse prevention, provider limits, maintenance, or legal compliance. We try to keep the workshop available, but online services and third-party providers can fail or change.

  • Accounts are for the person or table using them and should not be shared in ways that bypass plan limits.
  • Generated outputs are tools for tabletop play and may require human review before use in a game, publication, marketplace, or stream.
  • AutoToken is provided as-is to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, exact game balance, legal clearance, or unique AI output.

Privacy

Privacy Policy

AutoToken collects the information needed to run the product: account identifiers, email address, billing status, usage and entitlement records, prompts, generated creature data, uploaded or generated media, Vault entries, support messages, and technical logs.

We use this information to authenticate users, provide the workshops, save Vault content, process billing, prevent abuse, improve reliability, troubleshoot issues, and communicate about the service. We do not sell personal information.

Product update emails are optional. During signup in the United States the Email me product updates checkbox starts checked, and you can uncheck it; everywhere else it starts unchecked. You can change this preference in Account under Email preferences and save your choice; enabling updates requires a verified primary email. Existing accounts are not automatically opted in. Welcome, authentication, security, and billing emails are separate from product updates. Your advertising cookie choice does not subscribe you to emails.

To understand which links help people discover and use AutoToken, we record campaign labels, referring website domains, landing pages, visits, signups, upgrade and checkout steps, and export activity. A random identifier and the first and most recent recorded sources are kept in your browser for up to 30 days. When you sign up or sign in, this activity can be associated with your account. This measurement does not include your artwork, prompts, or full referring-page URLs.

When Google Ads measurement is enabled, it is optional. If you choose Accept, Google's tag can use advertising cookies and receive ad-click identifiers, basic page and device information, and a completed-signup event with an opaque identifier that prevents duplicate counting. Our conversion events do not include your name, email address, artwork, prompts, or private Vault URLs. Personalized advertising signals are disabled. You can decline or withdraw permission with the Optional cookies switch under Preferences in your Account; browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep this measurement off. Your choice is remembered in this browser for up to 180 days. Google may process measurement data under its own privacy policy.

Authentication is handled through Clerk. Payments and customer billing workflows are handled through Stripe. Text data and product records are stored in the application database. Generated and uploaded media may be stored in object storage such as Cloudflare R2. AI providers may process prompts, images, and structured data when you ask AutoToken to generate or refine content.

AutoToken normally retains generation prompts, uploaded source art, generated results, and related technical details for up to 90 days so authorized staff can respond to customer support requests, investigate generation failures, and address abuse or security incidents. Access is limited and logged. Transient content may be retained longer while it is still referenced by an active workshop session, reused or shared by a newer retained generation, or covered by an authorized support or security hold.

Content saved in your Vault follows the Vault and account lifecycle rather than this 90-day transient-support period. AutoToken does not use content accessed through this support process for model training, marketing, or public display.

We keep data while your account or saved content is active, while needed to provide the service, or while required for security, billing, tax, dispute, backup, or legal reasons. You can request account or data deletion by contacting us.

  • Payment card details are handled by Stripe; AutoToken does not store full card numbers.
  • Public sharing is opt-in. Private Vault content is not intended to be public unless you choose to share or export it.
  • No system is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable safeguards and service providers designed for authentication, billing, database, media, and infrastructure security.

Billing

Refunds and Cancellations

The Artificer plan is a recurring subscription. You can cancel from Manage billing on your Account page, and access remains active through the paid period you already covered unless the account is closed for misuse or legal reasons.

Artificer includes unlimited top-down creatures and rerolls for normal use, subject to fair use: 200 top-down generations per billing month and 40 in any 24 hours, where a generation is one new token set, reroll, or pose redo, plus 500 ORB chats and 100 statblock generations per calendar month. An account at a limit can keep editing, exporting, and using its Vault and Foundry, and new generations resume as the limit resets. We may raise these limits at any time and will give notice before lowering them.

AutoToken's Early Adopter price is a promotional launch price for Artificer. If pricing changes later, the pricing page or checkout flow will show the current offer before you subscribe.

A creature pack is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription. There is nothing to cancel, the creatures it grants do not expire, each comes with 20 rerolls, and buying one does not change your plan. Pack creatures do not count toward Artificer fair use.

Refunds are reviewed case by case. We can usually help with duplicate charges, billing mistakes, or access problems that prevent normal use. We generally do not refund normal subscription time that has already been used, or creature starts that have already been generated, unless required by law.

  • For billing issues, include the account email, approximate charge date, and what happened.
  • Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal; it does not automatically delete your saved Vault content.
  • If Stripe or the billing portal shows different timing for your subscription period, the billing record controls.

Ownership

Your Generated Content

As between you and AutoToken, you own the tokens, portraits, statblocks, and other outputs generated from your prompts ("Generated Content"), to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. You may use your Generated Content for any lawful purpose — including in commercial products such as published adventures, streamed or recorded games, and virtual-tabletop content — without attribution or further permission from us.

You grant AutoToken a limited license to host, process, and display your Generated Content solely to operate the service: storing creatures in your Vault, rendering exports, and serving your content back to you. We make no claim of copyright over your Generated Content. You are responsible for confirming that your use complies with the laws that apply to you, and we make no warranty that AI-generated output is protectable by copyright in your jurisdiction.

You may not use the service to generate content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or publicity rights — including prompts that request a third party's trademarked characters, artwork, or likeness. We may refuse, filter, or remove generations that we reasonably believe infringe third-party rights, and repeated attempts may result in account suspension.

  • Commercial use of your own Generated Content is allowed — no extra license or fee.
  • Names and mechanics derived from the System Reference Document are used under its license; AutoToken is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
  • Prompts asking for someone else's characters, art style impersonation of a specific artist, or a real person's likeness may be refused.

Sharing

Shared Content

Some features may let you share Generated Content publicly on AutoToken. Sharing is optional and off by default. If you share content, you grant (a) AutoToken a non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, and reasonably promote that content on the service while it remains shared, and (b) other users a non-exclusive license to view it and, where the feature allows, import and adapt it for their own personal and gameplay use.

Shared content may not be redistributed or sold outside AutoToken. You can stop sharing at any time, which ends future display and imports; copies other users lawfully made while your content was shared are unaffected.

We may remove, decline to display, or feature shared content at our discretion, and sharing features may add extra moderation rules when they are enabled.

Content

AI Output and User Content

You keep the rights you already have in content you upload. By uploading, saving, generating, or exporting content in AutoToken, you grant AutoToken the limited permission needed to process, store, display, transform, and export that content for the service.

AI output can be unpredictable. Generated art, text, mechanics, names, and statblocks may be incomplete, similar to other outputs, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before relying on it.

If you publish, sell, stream, or distribute output outside your private table, you are responsible for checking whether you have the needed rights and whether the output complies with the rules of the platform or marketplace where you use it.

  • Do not upload secrets, private personal information, or content you are not allowed to process through AI tools.
  • AutoToken may remove content or disable sharing if content appears abusive, illegal, rights-infringing, or unsafe.
  • Public gallery and sharing features may add extra moderation rules when they are enabled.

Notices

Third-Party Services and Trademarks

AutoToken integrates with third-party services for authentication, billing, storage, AI generation, infrastructure, and VTT workflows. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies.

Foundry Virtual Tabletop, Dungeons & Dragons, dnd5e, Pathfinder, Daggerheart, and other game or platform names belong to their respective owners. AutoToken is an independent tool and is not endorsed by or affiliated with those owners unless expressly stated.

Foundry-ready export means AutoToken prepares data for the AutoToken Foundry module to import. Foundry, game systems, and community packages can change their APIs, data shapes, or compatibility requirements over time.
